چکیده

Antennaria dioica ( Asteraceae family) – is a perennial herb, commonly found in dry grasslands and sandy or stony places from Eurasian areas. It known traditional medicine as antioxidant, diuretic, choleretic anti-inflammatory remedy. This species should be reconsidered possible sources of phenols, mainly flavonoids hydroxycinnamic acids. Thus, the aim this study was to validate chromatographic method for detection phenols their identification A. herb. HPLC-DAD evaluated terms linearity, precision, repeatability, accuracy, LOD LOQ. The calibration curves thirteen reference substances were linear (R 2 > 0.99) over range 5–400 µg/mL, LODs LOQs 0.1–0.3 µg/mL 0.2–1.0 respectively. During assay two flavones luteolin, apigenin; flavonol quercetin three its glycosides rutin, hyperoside isoquercitrin; coumarins: coumarin umbelliferone; five acids chlorogenic, caffeic, p -coumaric, trans -ferulic rosmarinic identified phytochemical confirms that plant material rich source phenolic compounds.

hydrochlorothiazide detection in urine samples by hplc-dad and experimental design dispersive l-l microextraction

hydrochlorothiazide (hct) is a diuretic agent which is shown to be effective in the treatment of hypertension. literature reports have demonstrated that urinary excretion data may be used to assess the bioavailability of various formulations containing this thiazide. also hct consumption by the athletes is one of the drugs which should be regulated by world anti-doping agency (wada), because of...

In vitro antimicrobial and antimycobacterial activity and HPLC-DAD screening of phenolics from Chenopodium ambrosioides L.

The main objective of this study was to demonstrate the antimicrobial potential of the crude extract and fractions of Chenopodium ambrosioides L., popularly known as Santa-Maria herb, against microorganisms of clinical interest by the microdilution technique, and also to show the chromatographic profile of the phenolic compounds in the species. The Phytochemical screening revealed the presence ...

Stability-indicating HPLC Assay Method and Degradation Profile of Tamsulosin

A sensitive, stability-indicating liquid-chromatographic method for analysis of tamsulosin in the presence of its degradation products has been developed and validated. Efficient chromatographic separation was achieved on a C18 column with a simple isocratic mobile phase consisting methanol: 50 mM phosphate buffer (pH 7.8, ratio 80:20) at a flow rate of 1 ml/m. The linearity of the method was e...

Differential competitive ability between sexes in the dioecious Antennaria dioica (Asteraceae).

BACKGROUND AND AIMS Differences in competitive ability between the sexes of dioecious plants are expected as a result of allocation trade-offs associated with sex-differential reproductive costs. However, the available data on competitive ability in dioecious plants are scarce and contradictory. In this study sexual competition was evaluated using the dioecious plant Antennaria dioica in a comm...
